Pre surgeryWell Kaelyn got her tubes put in on Friday morning at about 8 in the morning. It was a long night considering that the army "allowed" him to come home at 11 at night on Thursday. We had to keep her up as long as we could because she couldn't have no bottle after 12:30a.m. So we had to get up and be at the outpatient clinic at 6 a.m. Yes long long night. But everything went wonderful! She was very disturbed when the nurse walked up at took her from us for the 6 minute surgery. It felt like the longest 6 minutes EVER. :) The Dr. came out and got us which I recommend him to anyone. We heard her crying while they were walking her over to the recovery room. She saw us and started crying even harder and we tried giving her bottle to her and she would just throw it. She was a unhappy little camper. They gave her Tylenol 3 for the pain and to calm her down which worked! We were able to leave 45 minutes later and came home and she just lounged the rest of the day. So lets hope NO more ear infections for AWHILE.

Oh that just breaks my heart! I worry about Brody b/c he has had a couple back to back and it just scares me about surgery. I know it's so quick but ugh, just the thought brings tears to my eyes.. Bless your heart! you had to do it twice! You poor girl. I really hope she is all better now and no more painful ear infections.
