Cannot believe our baby boy turned 3. Felt like yesterday I found out were having a baby boy. Through the past three years he has changed so much. Just from a day to day, year to year, and month to month. He is into liking so many things. I find David and me in him everyday by his looks and behavior. Its sad that time just sweeps right below your feet. I am so thankful to have such and awesome little boy and a cutie pie!! I could go on on on on about him because he ROCKS! old, and such a great little guy. Full of smiles and laughter. And we have to wonder why
Why are we so blessed? We certainly don’t deserve. This little bundle of energy and verve
We love you so, little fellah . You are so, so cool . And so easy too – what terrible twos?
They didn’t happen – instead they were terrific. Wonderful, fantastic, and Splendiforific.
For most two-year-olds the favorite words are “No”, “No”, and “No”. Your’s were quite different – and noticeably so. Your favorite words were “mine” and “because I said so” . Now what great words for a two year old to say! Daddy has changed millions more than I . As I was saying, I will not miss diapers . But I will miss this age – it’s a special one. Full of giggles and fun for our baby boy. We love you Day Day – we love to watch you grow. To see you becoming a boy – Throwing a ball, running to and from. Laughing loudly! Giving daddy a hug and a kiss. Or getting rough and rowdy with Kaelyn (She's your best friend, though she acts like a baby). Watching trucks are never ending! Or playing the unstopable Wii-Yes, we are so proud of you, for all of your ways
And our prayer is that through all your fun-filled days. God will keep you, protect you, and hold you close to His side, And with His strong hand to be your Guide. That you will learn to know Him and love Him . Abide him! So – we’re trusting our Lord to show us the way. To be good parents to our kids day after day. We love you so much, little guy – you’re the best! With you around we are happy and blessed. Happy birthday, little friend, (though its a two weeks late, it’s true!) Happy Birthday dear Day Day. Well nothing new just been keeping busy. Our baby boy turned 3 years this past Monday. So sad and happy all at the same time! :) We had lots of family members and good friends from out of town and thank you all for coming! We had such a blast. Day Day wanted a Spongebob party so we themed it in that. He got everything you can imagine. Kaelyn had a blast. She is growing so fast I can't believe she is 16 months already. In the next few months we have lots to look forward to!! EXCITING-- My BFF saying her vows... and me being there to share the special day!! I am slowly blogging- just no time.... David is very busy with French school right now. While he is at home he studies on the computer- very time consuming. Well hope your all enjoying your weekend!!

Well this Sunday was SO much fun! Thanks to Papa who watched Kaelyn. Grandma Joan, Uncle Conrad, Dad, Little David, and I ventured out to go see the Ice Age 3-d Dawn of the Dinosaurs. ALL I GOT TO SAY GO SEE IT- to whom who has not. It was so cute and good! WORTH THE MONEY! :) A 2 year sat through it all and loved it. When the movie was finished he was like, "that was the best movie I have ever seen." :) Hope you all had a great weekend!

HAPPY 46TH BIRTHDAY MOM!

She is to cute!

Well where do I begin, I have NOT blogged since June.... Yes I said June. My mom had come down for about 3 weeks. We had celebrated her May birthday while she was down here. The kids were oh so happy to see her. Its nice to have grandparents in the kids life to show them they are loved by so many people no matter how far they are away or close! Our kiddos are sure lucky! My mom had taken little David shopping like every day while she was here. We had spent the Saturdays at the in laws like every other Saturday! As always we enjoyed ourselves. My mom, MIL, and I were asked to come to the movies with Ms. Madeline and the girls one night to see The Proposal--- SO cute! :) I got to meet Suzanne! So nice and she brought some YUMMY Norwegian chocolate. O so good. on another night I had taken the Mom and MIL to Mexican for dinner and then we were off to see The Hangover. FUNNY! Now keep in mind. My mom has been to 3 movies this year. I think that's the most she has ever seen. She usually doesn't do good at the movies. :) Love you mom. She watched Kaelyn for us one night so David and I could take little David to go see Up. It was good but I would not recommend to a little little kid. They don't talk through a lot of the beginning of the movie. Otherwise the popcorn, pop, and candy were all so yummy with our baby boy! After my mom being here for a little bit my little brother decided he wanted to come down here and visit his niece and nephew and of course David and I. We have been having fun. My mom went home about 2 weeks ago. Sad to see her leave but I always love seeing her. Big David had went to Charleston and had a adult weekend with no kids for the 4th of July. He well deserved it- he has been working super hard at work and just started French class for the next 4 months. WOW---- what a language! Maybe he will take me to France! HA HA... :) Ya never know. The kids, Conrad, and I stayed here and had LOTS of fireworks to do and we could see the Fireworks that they had on base right in our backyard! How cool was that. KAelyn was really scared of them so she slept through it all. We have been just hanging out at the pool, in laws on the weekend, and found out this week David and I are expecting a niece 'Allyson Rose.' Lots happening soon- this weekend the MIL, big David, Lil David, Conrad, and I are going to go see Ice Age 3-d. SO EXCITED! I am a big kid at heart! Conrad is going home next week. My baby boy is turning 3 in 2 weeks... SAD... But happy at the same time. Were having his party on the 1st. Then I turn another year younger :), at the end of the month I go see my BFF!!! Holy cow lots going on... and so much more. Its giving me a headache just thinking of it all! I hope you all enjoy the pictures- I am missing a lot of info because I have slacked ALOT... Well hello---- wanted to share my lovely pictures with my babies. We were having so much fun like always. I love being a mommy even when they make me angry, sassy to me, bad in the store, tentratantrums, late nights up watching trucks, stomachs, making messes, and lots more. I wouldn't trade in my kiddos for anything! Thank goodness I have a good donor- just kidding you all! I love my husband. He is a good daddy and we produce keepers :). LOL. We have been busy while daddy had been away at school. He comes home soon- YAY! We are going to bake him a cake. With help from lil David who is counting down the days til we bake it. I think just so he can eat the frosting. We have been having lots of fun and enjoying ourselves. This weekend little David stayed the night at Grandma and Papa Sanders' house and had some company from out of town here for the night "Aunt Laura-Camryn-Aunt Katie" My MIL had went to Florida with them for a few days and they came back for the night and flew back to their houses on Sunday. The kids swam in the pool. Will post pics once Aunt Laura sends me the pics which the kids will probably be a year older, lol. Just kidding. The MIL brought us back each a shirt! :) THANK YOU! Happy "Late" Memorial Day-

I have been MIA lately- not really in the mood to blog. Have lots going on which makes my mind other places. David is in school right now so I have been busy with the kids and running around. PROUD TO SAY- MY PASSPORT WILL BE IN MY MAILBOX WITHIN 3 WEEKS! WAHOO... :) SO excited. Like I said before I am down for any trips... lol.. :)

I feel a little bad- my hubby's birthday is Sunday and the Army of course has him away yet again for his birthday. So we will celebrate is when he gets back from school! I think we have some friends go out for dinner and I will make yummy cake! I am super excited too--- one of David's friend texted me and told me Davids plaque from his old unit is finally done. I am super stoked- this whole time David didn't think he was getting one. His friend told me its looks really good. I know David will be i shock in super thankful! He deserves it. :) Your doing good babe! Were SO proud of you!

The kids are getting big, Kaelyn is starting to talk a little bit more than she use to. She is teething I believe. From the looks of it her gums look swollen. David is starting to talk ALOT more... He can count to 14 now. :) PROUD MOMMY YES! I can't believe he will be 3 in August. :( Happy and sad feelings. I am super excited because that movie "Up" came out on the 29Th. I have been dying to go see it. So when David gets out of school I am hoping to bring little David, big David, and I to go see it! Its 3-d and little David loved the other 3-d movie I had taken him to. So that's on our agenda when he is home. That's all really for now. Until next time....

Well today was little David's first time going to the dentist! He was WONDERFUL! I so thought he was going to be bad or scared or even cry. NOPE, he proved me all wrong! The dentist office was great with him and have a peds dentist office upstairs of the regular dentist office. Its so cute- they have little mini chairs like adults but for kids. All sorts of fun stuff on the chair to make the child feel comfortable and they give the kids some sunglasses so the light they use to look in their teeth doesn't hurt their eyes. :) I think he felt like he was on cloud 9! He was getting lots of attention. His teeth look wonderful and NO CAVITIES! YAHOO! The Dr. was like, "have you been brushing his teeth since he was a baby?" --- "YEP!" Well so far its paying off! He loves brushing his teeth now. After they counted all his teeth and looked at them they brushed him which he though was so cool! The Dr. asked him what colors he wanted him to paint his teeth- David tells him red. Lol. So Dr. was like ok there we will paint them red, he was doing a fluoride treatment on them. Day was so excited to think he had red teeth. What a trip! They let him pick a surprise out for himself and gave him a toothbrush and toothpaste. Kaelyn was with us- they also gave her a toothbrush and toothpaste! Both of my kids thought that was the coolest thing. We go back in 6 months on our anniversary what are the odds of that :) Hope we have no cavities again!

Well there is so much to celebrate in my 100Th post!! WOOT WOOT GO me. :) A big thank you to all who reads my blog. I am shocked I haven't lost any readers yet by boring them to death. LOL. I love sharing my kiddos and our everyday livings with you all and our family!! Its a lot better than myspace or facebook. Don't get me wrong I like the both of them but I am into Blogging more.

GUESS WHAT?! I got my plane ticket to Jamaica on Friday morning! GO ME! I am super stoked I can't stand it. I called "The Smoaks" travel consultant-which is wonderful by the way, and asked her to book my flight! She called me back later that evening and said Beaches will send my itinerary later that evening or first thing morning. :) YAY!!! I am staying one extra day then I had thought I was going to. I know I will have the greatest time minus the fact the hubby won't be able to make it. I really wish the Army would allow him but his school comes first and all he has ever wanted to do is finally in the making-which I 100 % support. I am super excited to take part in the BFF's event...In which I know the BIG DAY will be stunning and breathtaking to us all! Laying on the beach, swimming with the dolphins, and lots more on my agenda while I am there! I fly right out of here and I will catch a flight with some of the other guests which will be great that way we can all ride the shuttle together and make the ride so much fun!! I am super stoked to take part in the Mr. and Mrs. "I Do" events that Saturday! We wish them all the best and super excited- I need to find some cute clothes. Oct. will be here right before we know it! I went and got my passport photo taken Friday evening and scary it is! I booked a apt to follow through getting the passport and can't wait! Its good for 10 years you all- so anytime anyone would like to take me- let me know :)!

Now on to our weekend- we went to dinner to my favorite restaurant Outback Friday night! Oh so... yummy!!! We went out with some of our friend and Kaelyn was with us. Little David stayed the night at his Papa and Grandmas house. Of course, he had fun as always and swam and played Wii with them!

Saturday, we went to the fair for the third time! A couple of our friends joined us in on the fun. LOL. Little David is NO longer scared of rides. We had such a blast. The weather was perfect and it was so nice. After all the yummy fatty food, all the rides, and games we had our family drawn. Enjoy the funny picture! Headed home and called it a night!

Lil' Gamecocks Fan!

Well my Mother's Day was GREAT! The kids and David surprised me at 6:30 a.m. with cards from each of them, a picture frame that says "LOVE" on it and a picture of the kids in it, and a candle set! I was shocked that David thought of all that on his own. Its funny because one day he went to Walmart with Kaelyn and got it all. I chuckled a little because I can't see David pushing Kaelyn around in a cart. Lol. Wow- I was surprised let me say! I loved it. They are so good to me. Thank you guys for it. :) That made my day right there just the three if them coming and getting me up at crack of dawn and then little David saying Happy Mother's Day mommy!! LOVE IT! In the afternoon we drove over to the MIL's to celebrate it with her too. We ordered pizza and ate cheesecake while little David swam in the pool! It was so nice outside!! It was a great Mother's Day except- I do wish I could also spend it with my mom to. Maybe next year. She deserves the day also!! Well off to watching trucks with Day-Day :)!

This is Davids good friend he has grown up with all through high school and his family is part of ours. Also, little David's godfather. Everyone is so proud and especially I am sure his parents are. They did such a great job raising him. He always was able to live a college life and keep the grades up as well! We wish you luck with the whole job field. Hope it all pays off!!! Well after a long 4 1/2 years of college and hard work he graduated today at the University of Utah with the degrees of Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Bachelor of Arts in Middle East Studies with an emphasis in Arabic! Thanks KDS Photography for the great pictures!! More to come from my crappy camera later on, lol. Thanks for everyone who also came to Kaelyn's birthday party. It turned our greater than I thought it was. I get nervous trying to entertain people. LOL, I know that's dumb but ya know... We had lots of fun grilled out on the grill and hung around and had cake with the birthday girl! She loved all her presents from everyone which we thank you all! Instead of buying her stuff you could have all put it towards my trip- :) Just kidding. I am not that stingy. Kayce and Jason drove down on Friday night and we just hung around playing the Wii. Saturday was Kaelyn's party and then afterwards we took a ride over to the fair! Regardless if it was raining it was still fun! Yummy fried oreos-a sausage dog-rides was SO WORTH IT ALL! I was so proud of little David he rode all what he could ride considering he hated rides all up until NOW! WAHOO. We had to convince him there were better rides so he would get off a ride. Well sorry you all I have been slacking lately- just been busy with everything. Last week had taken the kids to Myrtle Beach. We went to the Nascar place, Maragarita Ville, the Aquarium, and then off to the beach. It was a fun filled day with lots of excitement for the kids. We had a blast. Then over the weekend some of the guys and one of the wives of Davids old unit had a going away 82nd party. It was lots of fun and we brought the Wii over there and pulled out the old Mario and had everyone playing it! Grilled out on the grill, and had some side items with a yummy ice cream cake-thanks to everyone who helped out and made it special. "sorry no pics, i didn't take any pictures" Hope you all have had a fun week/weekend. Today is Kaelyn's 1st birthday and we had Grandma Joan over and Papa. I made lasagna and had cake. Kaelyn was such a character with the cake. Let me say---- the BATH TUB was calling her! :) Were having her just a little party on Saturday with just a few people over, nothing to big. David signs back into work on Saturday and starts his school. WOOT WOOT- Were proud of you babe! :) LOVE YOU. "GOOD LUCK" Our BFF's our coming into town on Friday and were really excited. Not to sure whats the plans yet. Who knows- I think there is a little fair thing on base this weekend, maybe we will take Lil D there so I can get some fair food. :) LOL. Happy Birthday Dear Kaelyn!!

Baby girl- you mean so much to us! I can't believe you are already one years old today! Its crazy. You have changed day by day and are so amazing. :) As your parent, we always want the best for you. We hope you all the best for many years ahead of you, you have! I can wait til all your next everything. Time goes by to quick as it is and I want all the time with your and your brother. You love playing with your brothers trucks and watching Spongebob. You were such a amazing gift when we found out when I was pregnant with you. All 40 weeks pregnant. Waiting for my water to break with -being how stubborn you were. Just kidding. You were a miracle when you got stuck and turned purple and scared dad, both grandmas, and me. You pushed yourself out! We love you so much. I am so happy I am your mommy. I am so excited to do all the things girls do as girls and be tomboys. :0) We had went fishing on Monday morning and you grabbed that fish with no scarce whatsoever. Okay you all! My BFF came to town on Thursday and left this morning. She took our family pictures and Kaelyns birthday pictures! I can't wait to see them. I know they look wonderful. :) "THANK YOU KAYCE." We had planned it for like 2 months, and thank goodness it was SO nice outside. Well last night we went out for dinner to Outback with David and my MIL watched the kids for a couple hours. It was yummy! Then, Kayce and I went to go see the Hannah Montana Movie. It was so cute! I am not going to lie- Kayce called me Thursday morning and asked if we could go see it while she was here and I was like OKKKKK. LOL. I am very glad we went because it was nothing I thought it would be. ALSO, check out the video. Its the new song I love! HAHA- its from the movie and its sucha catchy song. After the movies we headed to Walmart for a few things and Kayce bought the soundtrack. :) Well off to hanging with the kids today, its nice out so we will see what we got planned! Weekend full of excitement and fun! The kids aunt came down for her birthday and we celebrated it at Red Robyn and the kids were wonderful!!! Went back to Grandma and Papas for ice cream cake and hung around while playing Mario on the Wii. Yes, it was fun playing the old Nintendo games on the newer game systems. Odd-but addicting!

We celebrated Easter on Saturday so we could have the whole family since Katie and Jason had to get back home. We had ALOT of food. Also the best Pea Pods... haha had to be there to shuck your own furry peas. LOL... Hope you all had a great Easter!

Sunday we did a Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. Which they LOVED! Little David collected 8.00 dollars. YES- lots of money! He was so happy! Have a great week to you all!!!

Well----- lots going on... where do I even begin, we let Henry back in the lake. Papa and David went to the lake on Thursday and released him and he said he had to go back to his mommy and daddy. LOL. Friday we just sat around the house, Big David had CQ so we didn't do to much. Lets just say we were all in bed EARLY! Phew... :)

Saturday, we went to a couple pet stores to find another Henry but no such luck. From what we were told they can't sell turtles in the state of North Carolina because I guess dumb people feed them to chickens?! haha- no clue... YES ODD... but whatever. Then, we just cooked out on the grill and I had myself some Firefly- YES YUMMY!!!!

Sunday, I went and bought the kids a little swimming pool to play in because it got so hot here. The dang pool was smaller than smaller. I thought it was bigger. :) Sorry kids- I took it back today! :) Little David and Kaelyn drove all over on David's Jeep he got last year. We finally pulled it out from the shed. We buckled Kaelyn in with a belt, haha! She loves it. We already know what she will get on her 2nd birthday! David had a friend over and we cooked out on the grill again. I love cooking on the grill if you haven't noticed. It taste so good! Also better for you!

Today, we got a surprise from Papa- A RABBIT! Yes, you heard me right. Its name is Cinnamon. For anyone who knows me I use to LOVE pets not no more. So this change is a HUGE change for me to adjust to. The kids love her! I am starting to get attached to her. I even went to Walmart today and bought a harness and leash for it, lol. Shut up Kayce! I figured this way the kids can play with her without her running all over. Thanks Papa for the rabbit. You made the kids day! I feel like a whole new me! Its hard to believe that I said yes to getting it. I just feel I will give it a shot! I will soon- just give me some time. I am getting old! LOL . Hope you had a fantastic weekend, like we did!

This is David's last week in the 82nd. I am so proud of him!!! I wish him all the best and will be here for him through all this!!! Love you baby! The kids are getting big. Kaelyn is now up to about 3-4 steps at a time. I think before her birthday she will be walking. But who knows. Little David now can say his first and last name! I can't believe Easter is this weekend! Don't forget to shop parents!! 'Kayce get the dogs a bone, lol." I just did all my shopping today! I think were having Easter at my house. We have family coming in from town and its easier if we do it then. Were going to hide eggs with the kids. I think sometime this week we will color eggs! I love doing that!!! Well since I have talked your ears off---- enjoy the pictures!!

Papa brought the kids a turtle this morning! Little David loved it at first until he realized that turtles are SLOW. He was getting frustrated! Daddy and Day named the turtle Henry. He is in aquarium right now! We are going to keep him for about a week, then the boys are going to realize him into the water. Monday night as a family we made our Easter Hutch house! It was so much fun and lots of sugar was involved! Let me say Daddy taught David how to squirt the icing in his mouth and eat it. Yes the whole family was all jacked up on SUGAR! After all it was fun! Kaelyn ate a few jelly beans-eh' its not going to hurt-the parents who just went UHHH... :) For anyone who stops by its displayed on our bar. I wonder what the Easter Bunny has in house for the kiddos this year?! HHmmm... Not sure-a few more weeks til the bunny comes!! Well enjoy the pictures :) .

Friday night we decided to venture out in the crappy weather and asked our in laws to go to dinner with us to Red Robyn. They said sure, and so we tempted to take our kids out and granted we have only been out with them like 3-5 times to a restaurant. LOL - I know you all are thinking were crazy but... a 2 year going through their times - not so much! As he is getting older he is so much better at behaving in a restaurant. Last night, he was wonderful! Dinner was great and then after dinner we went and drove to pick up David's truck which he has been dying for the past two weeks. Ultimate Linings of Fayetteville by Tom Morris did it. It has been in the shop- he got the inside of the truck rhino lined. It looks SO SO SO much better than no carpet or anything in it. He had ripped the carpet up way back in June I think. Well HE LOVES IT! Thank goodness- because I would never hear the end of it. Once we got home we just watched Looney Tunes-yes a old old cartoon from when we were little. The kids love it! Kaelyn can now tell you she is 1! Its so funny! Of course, Little David wanted to show us he was 2! I hope you enjoy the pictures of our cute babies!!! Happy Saturday!

Yes, you heard me CORRECT!!! I say Jamaican Me Crazy because I AM GOING in OCT. THIS YEAR!!!! Well I was asked to come to Jamaica to celebrate my BFF's destination wedding. What a honor it was to be asked. HOLY COW- so much to do in such little time. I need a passport, and one or two cute outfits!!!! AHHHH-- I am excited. Grandma Joan and Day Day

Well about a month to two months I had bought tickets to go to the Monster Truck show right in our city! Well since my family is all addicted I figured it was so worth the purchase! Well last night was the night for the big day- BUT the army chose a no go for daddy to come with. They were in the field. So he was not able to share a wonderful night with us. Theres always next year, eh'?! So, Grandma Joan took Daddy's place and she loved it. It was a fun filled night that little Day loved it. Just to see a smile on his face makes the event even more incredible! I hope you all enjoy our pictures- can't wait until Kaelyn can join in on our family hobby!!!! Thanks to Papa he watched Kaelyn so we could have a great time.

Well since shortly after Kaelyn got her tubes David had to go back to work a few days later back out to the field. So we just took it easy since Kaelyn really wasn't up for a whole lot. Well Kaelyn got her tubes put in on Friday morning at about 8 in the morning. It was a long night considering that the army "allowed" him to come home at 11 at night on Thursday. We had to keep her up as long as we could because she couldn't have no bottle after 12:30a.m. So we had to get up and be at the outpatient clinic at 6 a.m. Yes long long night. But everything went wonderful! She was very disturbed when the nurse walked up at took her from us for the 6 minute surgery. It felt like the longest 6 minutes EVER. :) The Dr. came out and got us which I recommend him to anyone. We heard her crying while they were walking her over to the recovery room. She saw us and started crying even harder and we tried giving her bottle to her and she would just throw it. She was a unhappy little camper. They gave her Tylenol 3 for the pain and to calm her down which worked! We were able to leave 45 minutes later and came home and she just lounged the rest of the day. So lets hope NO more ear infections for AWHILE.

Well we had a surprise come on Saturday night- Auntie Katie came to visit for a few nights. Since it was so nice outside Aunt Katie, Jason, and Little David went to Sonics to go play and have lunch on Sunday. Kaelyn and I met them there and stayed for a couple hours. Had lots of fun in the WARM WEATHER AND NO SNOW (sorry family that all have snow-sucks to be you, hahah just kidding!). We had thought to go roller skating at Round-A-Bout Skating Rink where I had taken little David last weekend. So thanks to Ms. Madeline for watching Kaelyn until my FIL could, we were able to go. We were there for a few hours and had so much fun! My muscles hurt today in my thighs-- ahha only because Katie and I were being dumb and doing tricks and racing each other. BTW- sorry for the little boy I knocked down- haha kind of funny though. He got in my way. LOL. After we were all tired out from skating we decided to go play put put at the golfing place right behind the skating rink. We had lots of fun except apparently I was playing golf according to Katie and Jason. LOL. I was swinging it a lot harder and was funny! We did not keep score because we were just doing it for fun. Little David thought he would hit everyones ball in every hole. Thanks for coming down Aunt Katie- we enjoyed having you here. Until next time... XOoxoXo

Saturday night we had a invitation to go see Playhouse Disney Live! We went and let me say--- ITS SO WORTH THE MONEY PARENTS!!!! I am so going and bringing the kids next year! So if you want to come I am letting you all know in advance! :) Grandma Joan, David, Kaelyn, and I had so much fun! Our seats were good and we could see everything. They put on a very good show and had the kids sing and dance. They were well entertained! I hope you all enjoy the pictures from a day that we will always remember. Wanted to share some pics I took... I have to share our little cutie pies with you! Aren't they the cutest?! I know I like to brag! Sorry other moms and dads! We have my two favorite kids! Tonight we just went for a walk and hung out at the house. I had brought Lil D to play at Sonics to play to get some energy out of his system! Which it helped because he was in bed by 8:30! Tonight was a fun night! Little David has a mii person on the Wii, and while David and I played he kept insisting it was his turn. Well, we told him it was and he wanted to play the penguin game in which you balance on a ice block and shift your weight on the balance board side to side catching fish that fly above you. ITS A RAINY DAY- so sad :(. We just played the Wii Fit for a lot of the day! Went to grocery store and Old Navy and found some cute clothes for everyone except me! Haha, I am to picky and clothes fit me odd. I need a transformation on my body--- anyone want to pay for it!? Lol. Just kidding. Well I was at Walmart Friday and I bought each of the kids a Spongebob shirt! Their so cute! I gave them to them today! SO we took a few pictures with them in it. Of course a little family one too! 1st time skating: February 28th, 2009

Well Saturday morning I met my MIL, FIL, and little David at the Home and Garden Show to browse around with them as they look for ideas for their remodeling. I don't know why they just don't pay me to redo the house, haha... I am a TRIP! Their house would not be a house. It was neat going. Little David was so good! Kaelyn and daddy had a lazy day hanging out at the house as it RAINED NON-STOP. I did get some ideas of what I would like to do when we buy our house. I hope everything works out and my date stays in place! Who knows-- we could move some where else like Florida or wherever. So only time will tell. :)

After the Garden show I got Day's stuff and Grandma and Grandma Sanders ventured out doing their own things and we had a mother-son play date! We went ROLLER SKATING! It was SO SO MUCH FUN! For him being 2, he is GREAT! He was able to have balance right away. I was very impressed! He fell like 4 times I think. We were there for about 2 hours. It was nice just the two of us spending time together and that he really enjoyed it. I did good as well! I was shocked. I would like to start doing it like twice a month. Well Friday afternoon the kids and I played outside waiting for Daddy to come home from work! Last week while I was at the PX I bought little Day a Mickey Mouse kite. Kaelyn loves to be outside and we have been trying to break little David from taking naps in the daytime. So, I decided to take them out there and play. Grandma Joan had stopped by after she got off work and hung out for a bit and as she was about to leave little Day says, "Grandma, I come to your house in your and show Papa my puppy shirt." Haha. So how could she resist saying NO to her goofy grand baby. He was so excited to go. We got his stuff ready and off he went. Since we just had the Kaelyn we decided to go to our favorite restaurant -Outback! Yummy.... it was so good as always! Well we called it a night... enjoy the pics... until next time xoxox

Nothing new is going on... Besides Kaelyn getting a big egg on her head today. Little David and her were playing and hit heads. Poor kids. In the pictures you will see. David didn't get a egg, must be because he is a boy.

Its SO SO nice outside today, the kids are sleeping. I find myself sitting here catching up on everything on the computer. All the blogs I have been reading-oh so good! I haven't been in the mood really to blog.

Our schedule is going to be getting pretty busy soon- David is going to be doing some kind of training. We will miss Kaelyn's Godfathers Birthday. :( Sorry... Happy Birthday! The Army did it! Then Grandma Joan, David, Kaelyn and I will be going to Playhouse Disney soon! Oh I am excited, I know the kids will love it. They love all the characters that will be there! In a few weeks after that- Kaelyn gets her tubes :(. Monster trucks, will be coming here to Fayetteville and WERE GOING! So lots of pictures to come.... Sit back and wait....

Let me share my Wii Fit with you! "THE BEST" I think the words describe it. :) I love it. David even loves it. Its a work out- let me tell you. Well the truth is I am out of shape, lol! We have unlocked like three more games! Woot-woot! Its fun and you don't even realize that your working out. Its so much fun. I recommend it to anyone that wants to get it!

Well the mail man is walking up to my house as I am about to leave to run some errands, and he has this package in his hand. HHhhmm.... who would be sending me something. Kayce had told me last week look out for something for me. So I was assuming it was from her. :) I quickly open it up and my heart melted! It was such a pretty necklace with a keepsake charm on with both "David and Kaelyn's" names on it and the birthstone diamond charm on it. STUNNING! I love it!!! Thank you so so very much Kayce. What a good best friend. The crazy think is I have been looking for a necklace kind of like this one but haven't found one I love. I fell in love with this one when I first saw it!!!!

Then, while eating dinner the UPS guy knocks on the door with this box. I was like who is sending another gift for us?! Well David is like its from Kayce- I was mad because she had just sent me something so why is she spending all her money on me. Hmmm that sounds a little stingy, lol. Not that I am expecting you to spend all your money on me Kayce! Well I open it up as David has a smirk on his face. I was like I am gonna kill Kayce. I go get my phone to call her and look at David again and he is smiling even bigger. By then I start to realize he surprised me with it!!! I have been wanting this since before Christmas. But I refused to spend lots of money on it. This whole week he has been checking on his email account that is really old but I just thought he was looking at all the old mail. He was TRACKING THE PACKAGE! Thanks babe, for a good surprise. THIS was A SHOCKER!!!!

Wacky Monday

Well today has been a day. Woke up this morning and brought Kaelyn to the E.N.T--- well....she is scheduled for surgery in about two to three weeks for tubes. She failed some of her hearing tests in both ears. With a history of having a non-stop infection for the past 6 months its bound she gets them.

Little David goes to the doctors in morning to get blood drawn -not looking forward to that. The last time he has had have to blood drawn was about when he was 4 or 5 months old. Its going to be interesting. I hope he does good! Its just to make sure everything is going good with him. Which I am sure it is but just to be safe.

Okay you all!!! I'm back to join you all!!! FINALLY.... CAN YOU TELL I'M HAPPY?! Hope you all are doing fabulous! Things here are good. Little update before I post lots of pics... Little David is doing great! He is putting sentences together so well. You literally think your talking to a 4 year old when you talk to him. I went grocery shopping with him today, and every time he walked by someone and there cart was in the way he would say, "excuse me." They all thought he was the cutest little thing!!! I know I know. Its been very busy lately as you all know. Kaelyn on the other hand has ANOTHER ear infection. Odd... Just kidding. She goes to go and see a ENT on Monday. Thank goodness, I am thinking there going to suggest tubes. We will see and I will keep you all informed. I don't even know what else to say because I feel out the loop a little.... lol. Okay... well guys its been very hectic. First we move in a day and a half, kids get sick, and David and I get sick.... following getting settled all in the new house our computer decides to crash! Well the mother board crashed. Apparently there has been a recall on some of the HP dv series, I will be damned that ours wasn't covered. So I have been on there search for a new one. Happy Valentines' Day to everyone and all you loved ones. :) We have been planning on coming to Charleston for months now. Since the bestie asked to come in Feb. for a bridal show she has wanted to go to. So here we are.... here in Charleston this weekend. Thanks to my mother, father, and sister in law for keeping the kids!!!! Woot-woot party time. Ha ha, just kidding for anyone who knows me yea you know that's not true. Okay, sorry you all we have MIA lately. We moved out of our old house and into a new house in 2 days. Yes, it was a very short notice you would only think. :) With two kids, and all of us starting to get sick. Yes, HECTIC. But we got it all under control and David is gone for about 2 weeks and we are settled in the new house. Some things here and there needing to be tidy up but its good in the Sanders' house. Kaelyn can walk up and down the couches now, crawl forward-finally, and on the go everywhere. As for Lil D i think he is loving the new house. As a funny story to tell you all--- something personal but I will share-- well I was going potty the other night and little D was in the bathroom going through the drawers and pulls a tampon out and says, "mommy you put this in your butt?" ha ha yes, a 2 year old asking. I couldn't help but laugh but at the same time I didn't even know what to think. He is sure the odd ball!!! Kaelyn has a 9 month apt tomorrow, and i will bet money she has ANOTHER ear infection again. She has been pulling again, so I am sure we will start the 3 set of shots. I will let you all know though.

Well even with way more words to describe I could go on and on... but I think you get the idea. :) Little David was the happiest 2 year old I have ever seen. His eyes were so big when he saw the trucks in the arena. He kept saying mommy daddy I drive truck! It was the cutest thing ever! This was a memory we will never forget. We headed out to the RBC Center for a night of FUN. On the way there both dad and david took a nap to hold them over while we drove there. An hour later we arrived and the night began... we got tickets for the pit party-- "which means that the truck drivers were there with the monster trucks and we were able to get signatures of everyone there." We had bought t-shirts for all of us to wear, and little david's favorite truck driver is Monster Mutt but unfortunely he wasnt there last night, he was in Greensboro, SC. After getting little David's t-shirt signed on the back by all the 4 wheelers and monster truck drivers we headed up to our seats that were three rows up from the arena. THEY WERE AWESOME SEATS!!! We grabbed some drinks and food headed to our seat and it began---> A man jumping from the ceiling on fire and diving into a blow up mat. It was the craziest thing. He sets himself on fire and jumps and they blow the fire extinguisher on him. We were like WOW. He has been doing it for about 25 years and loves the rush. Onto the 4 wheelers doing rounds which were interesting. The Monster trucks started the trucks up and roar roar out they came. It was intense. Little David had a smile on his face ear to ear. You always love making your kids happy and it makes you feel good that you did something that they enjoy. We bought him a plush truck, pennant, and ear muffs that which the muff part were tires! They were so cute. Day sat in his seat until 9 with no problem and cheered all the drivers on and clapped with every movement they did! We would like to start making it a year thing possibly. Hopefully we can get Kaelyn into when she gets a little older. IT WAS A NIGHT FULL OF FUN. Take my word and A MEMORY THAT WE WILL NEVER FORGET! Enjoy the pictures from Monster Jam 09*

Well another update on Kaelyn: She will be 9 months on the 29. :( She has 6 teeth now from the last update on her... She has her two bottom front teeth, four top front teeth. YES A TROOPER! You would think a child teething that much would be horribly crabby. Nope. I mean she is fussy every once in a while, but just as normal as any other. She usually is happy for the most part! Today she took about three crawls forward. So maybe soon she will be getting around going the right way. Cause as of now its backwards and rolling to get where she needs to be. Kaelyn pulls herself up on furniture or your leg. I think her brother has pushed her a lot to. Anywhere he is she wants to be there also! What a brother/sister bond that won't last forever, lol. Well it was in the county of about 6 inches of snow fell in our area the other day! I don't know who was more excited to go play in the snow, Dad or Little David. :) It was crazy. Or was it Dad was just excited to not have to go to work that day, lol. Of course, the southerns do NOT know how to drive in the snow/ice. So they close everything down. Makes everyone around here a little happy... for the south 'snow day.' It was fun to see them play in it. Kaelyn and I went outside for about 10 minutes. She was a little jealous when she saw the boys go outside so I let her look outside and she was so excited, decided I could let her go play for a few minutes. All the late nights, crabby, no naps, whinning, teething, flu, shots, etc. ITS ALL WELL WORTH IT. NO REGRETS in life. We will always be here for you for anything. Everyday is a happy and sad day knowing your growing up and getting bigger. We try to teach you both the best we can. No one is perfect and hope to teach you that. 'Weekend Getaway'

Well David had a four day weekend this past weekend. Friday night we just hung around with our friends and played the old school Mario 3 on the Nintendo Wii. Yes, I did say on the Wii. We are able to buy the old school games on it! :) OH YAY FUN. Well Saturday morning we woke up out the blue "Let's go to Charleston." So we got ready and left! We were gone til Monday night. We had lots of fun with our Bffs. Lets say Mario was on... we were all trying to beat all 8 levels. We established to level 7. Dang game! We took the kids out for dinner which is not that often on Saturday night and THEY WERE THE GREATEST!!! I think we need to do that more often with them when we go to Charleston. When we were at the 'Smoaks' house little David was SO SO good the whole time. It was like he had to much respect for Kayce and Jason. Which of course I was happy about!! Good ol' Sunday we make reservations to Jap. Everyone knows that's a tradition when we see each other. So a big thanks to Ms. Renee, Mamaw, and Kallie for watching the munchkins so we could have adult dinner. It was a little a fun two firefly drinks later, apple soki, and yummy food with our friends we headed back for some yummy treats from Ms. Renee. :) THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN!! Well we much needed a getaway from this place. I love seeing our friends and being away. Thanks for having us this weekend. Enjoy the pics, Until next time...

Well Kaelyn has a third tooth now. She can crawl backwards all over the house! Wherever she wants to go she manages to get there on her own. :) Its sad at the same time I am happy for her. My kids are growing up and not baby baby's anymore. Well, they will always be my baby's but you know what i mean. Today I put her in her crib for a nap and i walk by her room and she is pulling herself up to sit. I was like wow. Then, I go to the laundry room and am putting clothes away and walk by room again and what do you know, she managed to pull herself up on her knees and peaking at me over the bar laughing. It was so cute!

Little David is talking so well these days and potty training is wonderful. Except for at night time when he is sleeping. That's going to be a challenge. For the past 6 months he has been doing good though otherwise. He is always playing with his Nerf guns with all Davids friends and David. I can't believe just in another 6 months he will be 3. OMG. WHERE DOES THE TIME GO. :( He can count to 1-10. Which blows me away! We are so proud. He has a little sassy box on him at times... lol. Must get that from his father. Just kidding, I am at fault on that one.

Sorry on the picture so blurry. All I have right now for pictures if my cell phone. When we were at David's aunt house I had left our camera charger there. So until she sends me the charger, I just have the phone... Be patient and I will take some good ones of the kids for you guys... Until next time...

Well this weekend was one of the greatest... Our best friends, "Kayce, Jason, and Jon" came down and joined us for a fun filled weekend. Friday night a bunch of our friends all met at Japanese and ate dinner and enjoyed ourselves, while the grandma Tammie watched the kids. Saturday was a very busy day. We got the kids baptized and I will share that once I get pictures together to share to you all the special day! That night, the girls went to go see 'Bride Wars.' It was AWESOME! It was well needed to be able to relax and not worry about anything. Sunday we went out for brunch with a few friends and relaxed the rest of the day. This weekend was a memory I won't forget. I am getting excited for so many things this year. :) In two weeks, David and I are taking little David to the Monster Jam in Raleigh. I am stoked. Well got to get to the kids, will post pictures when i get them from the BFF. Until next time...

Finally after two weeks WERE HOME!!!!!!!! I haven't been that happy in awhile to be in our home. Don't get me wrong to all our friends and family but its nice to be home. You all our welcomed here anytime. :) We had Santa come visit our house while we were gone and brought the kids A LOT of goodies... :) I think we need a bigger house, just from this whole Xmas. Kaelyn got her second tooth while we were gone and has three more coming in. Little David talks so much more and putting sentences together better now. David and I are doing wonderful. We took down our tree last night to make more room in our house for the kids... yea i know dedicated to the children! Well until next time...

Well our next journey was to Newaygo, MI. We had a great visit with everyone there! Grandma Kusse, Grandpa Kusse, Grandma Sanders, Uncle Bruce, cousins, and Aunt Laura followed us there with Camryn. It was fun and enjoyable. Especially with the wonderful snow flurries.... NOT.... While we were there we met up with one of Davids friend and fiance' that just got out of the army in June. Olive Garden was where we met up at and had a very nice dinner listening to Army stuff the whole time... :) loved it... ha ha... boring for the fact I have heard every story like 1001 times. But it was fun! Kearns and his fiance' are getting married in about a year and we wish them both the best.... until next time...

Well while we were in IL, David's aunt was wonderful to take us downtown Chicago on the LOOP!!!! It was little Davids first time on the train. He loved every minute on it. Well we walked around the Chicago Cubs Stadium... one day we will be there watching a game!!! WOOT WOOT. :) The wonderful aunt and mom drove s around where they grew up at and lived. Well its been a very long time since I have blogged. Due to being busy, spending time with the family, and having no Internet here it all goes... On Christmas Eve we left my moms house and drove to Cary, IL to see the Demkowiczs' Which is David's Aunt Laura, Uncle Ron, Drew, Camryn, Valarie, Dale, and Lyrissa were there!! My mother in law and father in law met us there that night. We just relaxed and my dear old husband, Dale, and Uncle Ron decided to do Yager Bombs all night... hahah yea... NOT FUNNY... you can only imagined what the felt like the next day! Santa brought everybody A LOT of things!!!! From Drew getting a PlayStation 3 and Camryn getting an I-pod to the kids getting games. Everyone got something!!! It was fun. It was a nice 2008 Christmas to remember! Merry Christmas to YOU ALL!!!! I know its a day late but we have been very very busy. Where do I even begin, we started our journey on Friday after David got out of work and headed to Green Bay, WI. My mom lives there so we wanted to go see her. We arrived on Saturday morning in the FREEZING CRAPPY SNOW. David and I have decided we will never come up North in the winter for holidays to see family. If the family wants to see us, come SOUTH! :) I got my car stuck in the snow bank on Saturday night, it was awful. I had to help push it and it was freezing. I thought literally my hand were going to fall off. Little David had fun in the snow though. It was so wonderful to see my mom and brother Conrad. I miss my mom so much, so when i see her its GREAT! This has been a very nice Christmas so far. The kids and I got lots from my mom and their Uncle Conrad. From a cooker for us to the kids getting a cabbage patch doll for Kaelyn and v-tech computer for David. Plus lots of more goodies. The roads were so icy that we couldn't even make it to Escanaba to see all the rest of my family :(. It sucked but theirs always ----them coming to see us!!! :) Wish we could see you all more! Tonight, was the first of many... We went to my in laws and celebrated Xmas tonight. Had a wonderful chicken and all the fixings, yummy chocolate pie, PRESENTS, and spending time as a family which was well needed. It was great just getting together as a big family which we haven't been able to do with every ones job and so forth. It was the first Xmas that we all have been together well kind of. I am sure all my blogger stalkers are tired of hearing it about first everything. But, its a military life. Little David knows what the P word is "PRESENTS." It was so funny. My mother says David you need to save some energy for after dinner so you can open Presents. Oh boy by golly he shot like a bat out of hell to get to them, ha ha. Well we ate dinner and all gathered around the tree and began. It was funny, with Kaelyn getting so excited with the wrapping paper and to David opening a box with clothes in it saying, "Oh man... " in such a disgusted voice. We all laughed so hard, typical child. LOL. Katie, David, Kaelyn, Big David, and I got much more than we needed. Thank you all so so much for everything. It was a Christmas we won't forget. We had alot of fun at the house tonight. I think we are a tad bit spoiled. :) Love you guys. Eh' isn't that why they love us so much!! I was super excited about my Christmas clock to my Steam mop. I can NOT wait to use it. The kids got so much stuff from books from auntie Katie and a ball pit that mind you my husband ended up popping the last one she got them last year cause he would play in it! I love you David for still being a child and having fun with your kiddos! Well I am super stoked at all our cool things! I need to head to bed, long day ahead of us... Tonight was SO SO SO fun!!! Well all four of us ended up in the kitchen and little David was such a helper. Kaelyn was even able to help and make the cookies. All three of them even licked the mixers. I believe little David ate more dough, frosting, and sprinkles than helping. Lol, it was a blast!!!! Its a start of a Sanders' tradition. Well our Sunday night was fun! We started it off by making David's 1st gingerbread house!!! It was very funny, he would eat the candy before putting it on his house. eewww... is right! :) It was a fun filled family night! Its getting closer and closer to time for Santa!!! I am getting more excited. All the shopping is finished for the kids! Thank goodness. Well figured I would share some pictures with you!!! Also, a song I LOVE AT CHRISTMAS TIME... Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer

Grandma got run over by a reindeer.
Walking home from our house Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
but as for me and grandpa we believe.
She'd been drinking too much eggnog,
and we begged her not to go.
But she forgot her medication, and she
staggered out the door into the snow.
When we found her Christmas morning,
at the scene of the attack,
she had hoof-prints on her forehead,
and incriminating Claus marks on her back.
Now we're all so proud of grandpa,
He's been taking this so well.
See him in there watching football,
drinking root beer and
playing cards with Cousin Mel.
It's not Christmas without Grandma,
All the family's dressed in black
and we just can't help but wonder:
Should we open up her gifts,
or send them back?
Send them back!!
Now the goose is on the table
and the pudding made of fig
and the blue and silver candles
that would just have matched
the hair on grandma's wig.
I've warned all my
friends and neighbors
better watch out for yourselves,
they should never give a license
to a man who drives a sleigh
and plays with elves.

Figured I would share some pictures with you all from last night! Things have been pretty crazy around here, with Kaelyn having another double ear infection. argh... Little David misses his daddy. Which will be back today, after 10 days! We plan on making our gingerbread house with the kids, well really David but Kaelyn will be there to join and watch! Well gotta go get David from getting into trouble until next time...

Santa Claus is Coming to Town...

Well Thursday night the kids and I ran to the mall, looking for Christmas gifts for everyone! After riding the carousel like 1000 times we finally agreed to see Santa. I didn't know how David or Kaelyn would do. I was in shock! Little David was like no, mommy. :) Kaelyn was all smiles and spitting on him. She is camera happy so I think that's why she didn't care what or who was holding her as long as that camera was on her. David was like lets go mom, lets go mom. He was scared of him. I thought it would be the opposite. The only way I was able to get a picture with Santa with the kids if I got in the picture to. Please disregard the pic of me. I was not even planning on a picture and was talking to David while she was taking it. "so its not the greatest but a keepsake!" Well Friday was pretty much a lounge day in out pj's. It was nice let me tell you! Saturday my mother in law and I were qualified in a contest to WIN 1000.00 dollars to the mall. So we had to go to the mall by 10:45. ah... mall= annoying on the weekends! Well only 22 people showed up so our odds should have been pretty good. ugh WRONG. As you see I didn't win, otherwise i would be to busy out shopping. Bob and Sherri from the morning show were there. Ha ha, by the way Sherri thinks our little girl is just so cute and loves her cheeks. Oh by the way about her cheeks, this little boy was standing by Kaelyn in the stroller while his brother rode the carousel and says she has chipmunk cheeks, lol. I laughed. The mom was like i am so sorry ma'am. I really didn't think anything of it besides it was funny! So we just tried to shop but not really had lunch there and went and had dinner at the in laws. Decided to get home because I believe our chipmunk baby has ANOTHER yes I did say ANOTHER earache. If she is not better by tomorrow she is headed to the clinic on Monday. Ur.... poor thing. She has been really fussy lately and she has a tooth coming in but I just blamed it on the teeth. Well I am sure its a mix of a tooth and earache. She is pulling at them things like gold! She just had a double ear infection a month ago. I get this feeling she will be like little David and need tubes. Well its 8:30 and both kids are out like bugs!! PHEW... I am head to bed after catching up on my soaps... :) yea, I am old! Until next time...

Well the kids took a bath today! I kept telling Kaelyn to smile so I could get a picture of her tooth! Well I was able to pull it off. Well on the other hand I couldn't leave David out so I had him show me and I got a cute picture of him smiling! :) Wow, I love these two boogers so much! They are so funny in the tub. OK, as a mom I am SO SO PROUD of our child! I am sure every mom has that moment. Not the same feeling with every mom though. Well lets share mine, today Little David wanted to color in his coloring book. Well we get the crayons and coloring book out and I only give him four crayons because one time my cousin made a mistake and gave him the whole box of crayons and colored all over my grandma's khaki color carpet, ugh yea. :) So he is only allowed a few at a time. Well he names off everything on Mickey Mouse (ex: hands, shoes, ears, tree, etc.). So he starts coloring and granted he is ONLY 2. Just turned 2 in August colored this picture all by himself. :) I never helped him at all! I am so amazed. I mean every child colors cute, but i am just so amazed how perfect this picture is!! He was like, "mom, look at my picture mickey mouse cold." ha ha. He sat at the table concentrating so hard on this! I am so happy that he was so proud of his picture I wanted to share it all with my readers!!! He is growing up so fast.

I better not leave Kaelyn out, she is getting her second tooth. The tooth should be through the gum by this weekend. Today, she became an official Gamecocks Fan, thanks to Kayce and Jason for the shirt! :) The family is all doing wonderful. Nothing really new except Christmas is coming and we are counting down the days til Santa comes to the house which is---23 days away. ahhh... that's nuts. Well until next time...

Well as you all know I am very behind on blogging. Sorry I am slacking. I am way to busy trying to win things on the radio with my crazy mother in law. :) Well Thanksgiving this year was different for the part that DAVID WAS HOME! Finally to celebrate a holiday that means a lot to me!! It was wonderful. Little David didn't make it long enough to eat with all of us, he ended up falling asleep on the floor. We sat around and lounged and watched t.v. It was nice all together though. I wanted to share some pictures with you all above.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! I am so thankful for everything in my life! One main thing is our healthy children that David and I have! I am so thankful David came home from Iraq safe and sound after a long long deployment. I am thankful for having wonderful moms and dads! I am thankful for all our trusted good friends and family! The list will go on and on... Hope you all have a wonderful day and make a one you won't forgot!

OK, one more thing I wanted to share with you: You all get very tired and sleepy after turkey and everyone naps! Well I have your answer why because I know some of you wonder why...
